Due to Coronavirus our regular meetings have been replaced with a livestream that runs Wednesday Lunchtime from 1:00pm - 1:30pm.
We would love you to join us.
Are you ready to go toe to toe with the troubled times that are coming our way?
The suffering that we are experiencing on a global scale has shaken up our perspective on life. As the things that normally fill our days have wound up, many of us have discovered cracks in our worldview that we can't undiscover. Sooner or later normal activity will resume and help us to forget about those cracks but, sooner or later troubled times will come our way again. Are you ready to face them?
Jesus didn't simply teach abstract principles about suffering. Jesus lived and worked among people who suffered, he himself endured terrible suffering and his followers had a perspective on suffering that allowed them to not only survive but thrive in times of war, plague and famine. In our new series at Bible Shots, Rob Martin will take us through the gospel of Matthew and see what happens when Jesus confronts suffering.
City Bible Forum hosts regular lunchtime talks to help you understand what the Bible has to say about issues relevant to your life. You’ll have the chance to hear from a wide variety of highly experienced and knowledgeable theologians on various sections of the Bible. No prior knowledge is required and people from all faiths and backgrounds are warmly welcomed. Hear a short talk, ask questions and meet others seeking to deepen their relationship with Jesus, or extend their knowledge and understanding of the Christian faith.
