No matter how good things get, you can't avoid it! It makes everything seem so futile. How can you solve the problem of suffering?
Suffering is inevitable. Even if you were living your best possible existence, you can not avoid suffering. It seems that the only certain way to end suffering is to die. We live, we suffer, we die. What's the point?
But is futility the whole story? Despite the fact that everyone suffers, there is something within us that rages against the experience of suffering. Jesus affirmed that suffering is a problem and he offers a real and lasting solution.
