How do I prepare for an interview? How do I answer 'those' questions? What is the question behind the question? ... and how do I prepare for this as a Christian?
Join us for IN THE HOT SEAT. This is an open invitation to anyone graduating soon or wanting to prepare for the interview season. Expect an evening to hear from a Graduate Recruiter as she shares some insider tips on how to stand out in interviews as well as hear from the Bible on how best to stand up and represent Jesus in interviews. Finally, we'll turn the tables and put both our speakers in the hot seat and ask in question time.
$8.00 will secure your seat, sushi and beer/drinks and a chance to leave better prepared for interview than when you came. Rego is a must. Click the button to register.
As the lead Campus Recruiter for Atlassian, Sydney, Rachel knows the mechanics of grad recruitment. She's viewed thousands of resumes, interviewed hundreds of candidates and sets up workplace 'noobs' to succeed. She will be sharing her professional tips, but more importantly, how her profession of faith in Jesus has helped her when she was looking for her job.
As a dude with no fancy title like Rachel, Mark works for the not-for-profit organisation, City Bible Forum and officially leads the Sydney ministry team - although this seems fanciful to someone who still gets ID carded at the age of 38! Part of Mark's job is to help Christian graduates transition into the workplace and he will open the Bible to see how we can best prepare ourselves for interviews as Jesus' followers.
