Who

When we look around our world today, the topic of effective leadership leaves us with more questions than answers. What does it mean to be a leader? What does effective leadership look like? “For me the role model of effective leadership is in the Christmas story”, says Dr Sam Chan. Come and explore what this leadership looks like as Sam takes us through ‘A Christmas gift – The power to lead well’.

Feel free to bring a platter to share as we celebrate Christmas over lunch. It’s also a great opportunity to meet other like-minded people at Macquarie Park to discuss this topic.

Sam Chan is a global citizen - born in Hong Kong, studied Medicine in Sydney, got his PhD from Chicago. Just like you, he senses that our world has changed - we work more, but are less happy. Sam loves helping people rediscover the joy that comes from faith, spirituality, and the Christian tradition. But he also knows that Australians don't want to be too serious. That's why Sam has discovered humorous ways to talk about the important issues in life.
