Marketplace Talk is an ongoing series of interactive workshops designed to help Christians navigate contemporary issues relating to culture, evangelism and apologetics. The aim is for them to be highly practical and relevant for Christians from all walks of life as they seek to share their faith in their unique context.

Critically Appreciative: Living with & Learning from Critical Theories

In light of recent events and the mass protests that have swept the globe, issues relating to social justice are on everyone's lips (i.e Black Lives Matter, critical theory, 'cultural marxism', cancel culture). Joining us is Mikey Lynch, who will be sharing some thoughts on critical theory as we chat about the evangelistic implications in this politically charged climate. Together we'll think through the opportunities and warnings that are worth considering as Christians as we engage with those around us, with plenty of time for Q&A throughout the evening.

We have set up the event for a live audience (following the latest government COVID-19 guidelines), but will provide a livestreaming option for those that prefer to stay at home.

With it being our first in person event since early March we're offering a 'welcome back discount' for those who want to attend in person.
