in Australia we tend to celebrate Christmas on 25th December and let these festivities with family and friends spill over into the following week peaking with New Years Eve fireworks. However, many Christians have celebrated the 12 Days of Christmas for generations, beginning on Christmas Day and resolving on the 5th January.
